Our History

Established in 1999, Nikol is now a synonym of high quality technical fabric manufacturer in global market. The company has widened its product range by adding filter fabric and geo fabric to their product portfolio. With the addition of woven battery gauntlets, Nikol has been moved towards energy sector. Eventually export division also has been established to cater global technical textile market. Next milestone in the growth path was the product range of composite reinforcements with high performance fibre weaving. Today, NAMPL is one of the few companies in India, which has the weaving expertise to produce such a wide range of fabrics with different fibre types.

Nikol is the only company in India and amongst very few companies in the world, which have the commercial scale weaving technology for 3D weaving process. The profound technicality and research attitude has put the company at the forefront of the 3D weaving capability. A major investment program during the following years lays the foundation for the structure of today. The company has today established itself as one of the most accepted and respected manufacturer of various industrial fabrics & technical fabrics in India.

Mr. Mehul Patel, Managing Director

Mr. Mehul Patel, is leading the company with the responsibility as a Managing Director. He holds Masters in Textile Engineering with gold medal and MBA in international marketing. He has over 15 years of wide experience and is associated with the company since its inception. His dynamic leadership abilities and overall expertise in the technical and commercial aspects of the textile business have been instrumental in the growth and success of the company. He is a proven entrepreneur and is well networked in the community. He is responsible for implementing the business strategy and directing the overall performance and growth of the organization.

Dr. Dhaval Patel, Technical Director

Dr. Dhaval Patel, is a Technical Director of the company. He holds doctorate degree in the field of science and actively involve in the field of research. He is also associated with University of Manchester, UK in the field of textile composites. He brings to the table over 10 years of experience in the technical industry and is responsible for the new product development and its commercialisation. With his indigenous experience, he is also actively contributing to the strategy and financial growth of the organization. In addition to the entire gamut of technical department, Dr. Dhaval Patel is also taking care for the expansion plans and export market for the company.

Our Infrastructure

NAMPL recognizes that a key to success depends on the continuous infrastructural development. Based in the suburb of Ahmedabad city, we have established modern, hi-tech and sophisticated infrastructure, which is spread across a wide area. The company also owns 54,000 sq. ft. land for future expansion in Ahmedabad.
Well-equipped with advanced machines and tools, the infrastructure is well separated into various divisions that help in carrying out all our business related activities in a streamlined manner. All our machines are upgraded on a regular basis to cater the demand of fabrics for domestic as well as international customers. Over the years we have implemented a full-scale R&D laboratory, manufacturing/weaving facilities along with a processing and finishing plant, redefining our role from a weaver to a total textile solution provider.
